Expect major changes to the operations team. VCG about to undergo a major reorganization this quarter. Also hearing for retail all locations will go down to 1 GM and 1 AM besides the few remaining multi locations. Express stores are about to be divested into indirect locations as well

Next gen stores are even worse. In store pick up lockers that a customer access their self. Counts against your stores KPIs. All the accessories hidden away or in the back. This company loves to burn money on stupid ideas.

We all know this is false solely based off of the fact that it would require Verizon to realize we don’t need 2-4 assistant managers to lean against counters and play of their phones and make a schedule. IM LOOKING AT YOU ETX AND DM ET. This company will apparently never see how inept this district management is and actually do something about it. It’ll never change until you get these lazy managers out who are stagnant and this their job is to provide their presence and absolutely nothing else.

Boy howdy I wish that was true. Give all these layers and layers of managers a cut. Simplify all the people up the org chart from us. We get so much conflicting messages about what to push or not. One manager tells us to beg each customer for a five rating, another says that is against the rules. My manager told me to carry out an accessory bundle for every sale and don't let them leave until they buy 50 worth. The training says that is unethical and we should qualify people and only offer what they need.

no matter how they fudge the numbers or they read out for the quarter there is going to be some office jobs cut and some heads will roll. We ain't growing this business right now and look at other companies, lay offs and hiring freezes. Also the economy is going to get any better soon. It's also getting close to the annual Verizon home for the holidays event. If you're a Blue Jeans jockey, good luck.
I'll give this 50% chance of happening. All sorts of Sr leadership turnover recently but it's the wrong time of year for anything really big. Maybe something though.
