It's very true, attrition is becoming more apparent through the company, here in the UK, vacancies are coming up with much more salary and incentives that Mother Mining could offer, good to see the lower paid workers have a chance to progress in jobs that might suit them better and enhance their family life and social life, doing shift work for these dossers who don't care if you collapsed tomorrow your promoted mechanical engineer boss would be kicking you out of the way to replace you with a contingency worker,

I recently left the org, and 3 people left before me within my department . None of our roles are being backfilled. I do not think a layoff is necessary if similar things are happening across departments and divisions.

Somehow it looks like hiring freezes are being lifted and we hiring more again. I don't expect any layoffs in the foreseeable future.

After bankruptcy sets in, there will be ample room for layoffs. Turns out making payments from an empty bank account isn't exactly feasible.
