Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

One Oracle

What may just sound like a slogan, is actually a central pillar of corporate strategy. It is ripe with potential!

One Oracle has the potential to reduce redundancy in Sales and sales support systems. Rather than having a license team, a hardware team, an apps team, and a tech team all calling on a top prospect, there will now be One Oracle Team calling in.

Customers have been asking for this for years!

It also has the potential to help eliminate multiple tiers of highly priced management tiers. It will, of course, demand more from the front line contacts, but a centralized approach, including uniform presentation decks, will be provided to help in the transition.

My only question is how can One Oracle have two CEO’s?

How will ‘One Oracle’ impact the Government business? Would Oracle combine them with general business, just as they rolled together license and cloud orgs?

The funny thing is, that that Sun critic is completely speaking the truth.

One oracle means one sales team and one pre sales team. Redundant orgs like odp, hub, tech, license etc will all be combined having top of top peeps. However certain orgs like the Thai lady in Singapore office will hog all the headcounts just because she can and she will. Thirsty for blood of peons to continuous success in her presales org. Her kind of peeps? A-s kissers from talentless bald narcissist that will cross anyone to get what they want.

Something triggered the Sun critic. There hasn’t been a Sun thread in several weeks, but guess when something’s in your head, it’s in your head.

“ The only thing more pathetic than the collection of losers posting on these threads “

A self fulfilling comment, I suppose.

The only thing more pathetic than the collection of losers posting on these threads is the collection of SUN losers who can’t stop thinking about and posting about their glory days of 26 years ago and thinking it would end any differently than it has for them.

Sun people are the biggest group of whiners and losers EVER. Worse than the Millenial snowflakes that now populate Oracle and are always boo-hoping here about how they got their feelings hurt and how could Oracle lay them off of their precious jobs.

Lol. Keep it up you collection of clowns.

They have tried that about three times in the last 20 years. Every “new” approach gets changed a year or two later.

The problem with that strategy always is that people will just gravitate toward the easiest sale. Who is even going to mention CX or hardware if you can sell the total portfolio? The other problem is that if you have a bad sales rep or even an average sales rep, you just lost a ton of business.... It makes sense to have coordination between the various lines though and one virtual team.

LOL! Should be smooth sailing from now on!

Another bad idea to grasp at before slipping down the drain of history.
