Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

I love Sievert!

I have a lot of stock in the company and it's refreshing to see the top brass finally getting rid of the chattel, so to speak. Long term this will help the stock price rise even more, making me more money, and we finally get rid of some of the laziest employees in the company.

With earnings coming out tomorrow, it's employee townhall and CNBC time.
Get out your p-m-poms and thundersticks.

As one who got axed for refusing the vax, I can confirm that my unvested legacy Sprint RSUs, and my TMUS RSUs, were indeed taken from me.
All because I refused to take a useless vaccine, that doesn't stop infection, spread, or even death.
I have no problem with people who do not work, or are consistently poor performers getting turned loose. I doubt anyone really disagrees with that.
But when good, quality, productive people are shown the door because the CEO can't admit that he is wrong regarding covid and the vaccines, that is another thing.
The vaccines, on their own, are a colossal failure. Add in the damaged relationships, destruction of trust in leaders, the health system and of course morale at T-Mobile, and it's hard to imagine a more brain-dead policy than sticking with the vaccine mandate.
An honorable man, and SLT, would not have gone ahead with the mandate in the first place, let alone stuck with it mandate when Omicron made it obvious that the vaxxes were good for essentially nothing.

To the person who started this thread and liked sievert, think about this. They probably got rid of people who had a lot of unvested shares so there is no payout. Not if but when you get laid off I want you to post something here. If you lose you unvested shares I want to see if your tune is the same. I was a peak winner, had a ton of hardware and got laid off. Glad they did. I’m getting paid what I deserve. T mobile lies will catch up…

I love him too! All of us separated for not taking the Vax are gong to get paid bigtime in a tort lawsuit.

I guess that's what happens when T-Mobile's parent company sits on the board of the World Economic Forum who's stated goal is you'll own nothing and be happy, oh and depopulation via a vaccine.

They also got rid of a lot of older workers. I know that at least 10 people over the age of 45 who were laid off.

Really? Because some of the hardest and best leaders I’ve known got let go just to get their jobs back. Also they kept some of the laziest people I’ve ever met that just use their tenure to work the system like taking PTO and calling in or showing up late all the time. T-Mobile just got rid of people so they can “promote” internal tenured employees into those roles at a lower salary.
