It's tough to feel sorry for you at this point, even in the weakening job market and economy

You were warned. The axe falls swiftly and is cold and uncaring.

But you created this situation all by yourself. Go look in the mirror. Take a long, long look. Then get to work on getting out. Get a jump on it, even if it's only a couple of weeks before the judgement day. If you don't it's all on when the axe falls. And it's going to fall. Again, again and again and you will wait for it, and it will come for you.

Some people like to scare themselves with horror stories and mu---r mysteries. Others get their thrills by crying "massive layoff!" all the time. When the hour comes and they happen to be right it's mostly by accident, like a broken clock that's right 1 out of 12. Unless you have some solid numbers to report or actual insider information, get your thrills elsewhere. We're interested in real information here.
