anyone else hear their team was doing a stack-rank? in one (very sick) case I heard a team was asked to "self stack-rank". Eeewwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Oracle needs a Mgmt reorg.
The negative abusive Mgmt style, Business model does not work.

So relative to the coming layoff what exactly does this mean? Do they come in and just eliminate the bottom 20% of the people on the stack-rank list or whatever? Or does this factor in some other way ?
I can imagine a scenario where people can get together and vote someone off the island!

I say stall on that task. Ask the manager for guidance as you have never done such a task before. Maybe you need to have some formal training before you can attempt such a task. Will require several group meetings.

Ignore the request. Stall and delay as long as possible.
Senior leaders think they are the modern day Jack Welch when they do this but they keep forgetting that everyone just got jacked around mercilessly for the last 2 years and no one cares about tasks like this.
