Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

How many Does it take?

I am working very hard to support my customer’s growth and supporting their SR’s, but I am continually distracted by others. It is not enough that my management demands constant updates, and forecasts of my customer’s future consumption, but I am also bombarded by so any others,

New courses and training is continually dropped on my lap, training that is more sales related than my job.

An army of ‘helpers’ also call. They are Pushing one program or another, in theory to help me, but I suspect that it is just to keep them employed!

Many extra hours, for which I am not paid, and all for a bonus that pays out about only 50% of target, while Oracle has phenomenal growth. Perhaps the money has gone to pay for the overhead?

The real question is many managers does it take? Managers upon managers. VP’s answering to directors. Time to review the deck.

LOL, better yet.. so you're a sales engineer. Do you have a cute, digital Oracle badge that proves it? I bet that really impresses other prospective future employers.

Enjoy filling out those time-wasting dashboards and forecasts, managing those hopeless SRs on cloud tech that doesn't work well and so much other busywork because it sux2bu@oracle.com

btw - there are about a hundred other loozers like you out there who are unemployed and would happily step into your job in a heartbeat. Trouble is, you're probably unemployable outside of the big O.
