When is the company going to realize they can just hire actual door greeters and save a fortune eliminating the SM position ?

When your SM is watching movies in the back instead of helping the reps on a short staffed busy day…
I think @hpi+1hCszah8 needs to look up the word "likes."
i would be pressed to say i actually think after looking at this that more SMs go on this site than reps. that’s interesting
I’ll gladly step away with a severance. Run door, operations, help three people at once troubleshooting, and still coaching… give me the $$$ to walk.
the downvotes go to show just how many SMs are on this site tho lol
how much are SMs making these days after comp changes?
We are currently looking looking into removing SM. Q1 2023 should see some changes.
My SM’s are selling machines. Y’all should just treat your employees fairly and they’ll work for you. Plus they get our easy customers. I don’t give them complicated stuff. They’re a necessity, they won’t be going anywhere.
@waz+1hCszah8 When SM’s are greeting there is no time for anything else. This happens quite a bit. There are all these expectations of a rep but not much help from managers who are always at the door. Anyone getting a 1 on contribution report should be using this argument to their advantage. “ You obviously see I’m struggling with numbers but yet nobody helps me out because managers are stuck greeting all the time “. This will be much worse in the last quarter.
As solutions manager myself, I don’t know what kind of manager you have but I have to greet, help customers, make sure operations is good and still coach my team.
Many likes for this post I swear they do not care at all. Our sm just literally checks people in and doesn’t do a thing after. They know we’re swarmed and they just watch while they can help assisting customers. Verizon preaches you to be human but at this point it’s harboring drones.
