Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

I hope that attrition will slow down a bit

For now, I haven't noticed that fewer people are leaving. Everyone is looking for a way out. Will attrition finally slow down a bit? I am quite exhausted and if this continues, I don't know how much longer I will be able to do work for several people. The manager keeps just burying me with work.

I've never seen a group of harder working and capable people being completely and so thanklessly bled out by an organization. The disconnect between what's said about balance and mental health and what leadership here expects and keeps asking for - 70-80 hour work weeks, working every weekend all the time with no end in sight - is disgusting and it's not getting better.

It’s still bad and will get worse as our peers continue to ramp up hiring. My team is burnt out and hope is rare.
