Things are a mess in big part because incompetent people keep getting promoted since they have perfected the art of a-s-kissing. They keep getting ahead while competent employees with the knowledge and experience that would help to move this place forward get stuck in their positions and often leave because of that. Until that changes, nothing will change.

The things told to LDP folks was shameful. ECU is not an Ivy League school.. I hated LDP kids working for me, entitled brainwashed kids.
The environment that was created during this merger led good managers to GTFO or they were let go because they were from the wrong heritage bank. CIB was the worst offender in this nonsense. From top down (Beau) and the boys purged all talent that they didn’t bring in. It was almost comical some of the clowns put in place. I’m sure other parts of the bank saw the same thing, oh, and don’t get me started about their precious analysts. A more useless group has never been seen. If you thought LDPers were something you should be exposed to these children awhile!

I agree. I couldn’t believe my old boss was a branch manager. They were absolutely terrible at their job. They couldn’t seem to get the clue that their job was to develop and train employees instead of gossip about other employees within the company. I knew the corporate culture was toxic when everyday was like a new episode on gossip girls.
