I was already looking for a job because the company's direction worried me, so I got lucky timing wise (I got the offer for my current job right after being laid off).
I found plenty of jobs to apply to and had a good amount of success getting interviews. Just based on occasional looks on linkedin, it appears there are still good opportunities in my area (risk), although some companies have slowed or frozen hiring for now.
