Honestly, I was hoping to be able to upgrade my skills much more during this time that I have been here. Now I'm leaving a little disappointed.
Some, however, say they have learned a lot here and that Oracle has served them as an excellent stepping stone. How successful were you at growing your skillset here?

learned how NOT to drink the koolaid, get my paycheck twice a month, stay under the radar, read between the lines.. big corp doesnt care about you.. get your $, do the absolute minimum and leave when the time is right. Oracle looks good on the resume.. all these big companies are the same and they dont care about people.. thats a fact
I learned nothing on the tech side at Oracle. I worked on the same application for 10 years. I did learn something about the bad side of human nature. I learned that there are a lot of people willing to lie, cheat and steal to make themselves look like someone they are not. I gained trauma from all of that.
There is no good reason to work at Oracle.
resiliency, impostor syndrome , rebuttal, negation, avidity, adversity dodging... I could go to te infinity and beyond
I'm now skilled at being irrelevant in the market.
