They say Truist is a merger of equals that would be a NO answer. Truist promote diversity equity and inclusion but never delivers . This is a Fake Show to put in front on public view. Mostly white team members are considered and if HR questions it then would hire black or other minority. The team members that get promoted are Suntrust and you have to be liked by your Market Executive to even be consider. Performance does not drive promotion you have to be a part of the click Suntrust group is when you are being consider . Why does a white leader who sits home and work during Covid get promoted over another leader who puts them self on the front line each and everyday . Senior leadership at Truist treats team members unfairly and if minority they consider poor communications . They lost so many teammates that they had to increase minimum wage to throw money at team members to retain regardless if you are not performing .
That payday is gone. Next best thing is to offer cash payouts to hBBT pensioners to get them off the dole. Just imagine how much it is going to cost Truist to keep the pension fully funded for all the 55+ folks. It’s a heck of a headwind. On the other hand, it was over $1B over funded 5 years ago.
Someone tell these millennials and xer’s promotions are earned, no wait, my bad, you must be from the right heritage bank. What was I thinking!
There will be no more RSVPs, only Rifs or fired for poor job performance.
Good for them. If only that meant they'd actually promote Gen X and Millenial teammates to fill those slots, but no, they'll just hire MBA sociopaths from outside.
