Then leave. Xerox will be better off without you.

I'd be embarrassed to be working at the White House nowadays, but c'mon, Xerox is a far cry better than that

Well said. Your co-workers moved on from the tEcH PoWeR HoUsE but you were too chicken. You will pay for your laziness with the upcoming recession.

No not at all.

Sounds like you are embarrassed of the work you do and your inability to make yourself better. You would probably be as successful at Google, Amazon, Tesla, etc as you are at Xerox. That's all on you.

Xerox's glory days are well in the past, and if you are still at Xerox and unhappy with your job, it must be because you are unqualified to move on.

@jsq+1h5FAtUd. Exactly right. It’s corp America. Xerox is in a dying industry and didn’t pivot in time. But corp America serves its shareholders and not its employees.

To OP don’t be embarrassed because no one outside of xerox knows what’s going on. Only employees and ex employees. Focus on your skills not the logo on the building.

Xerox is about as relevant as Kodak in 2022. Both have big empty towers standing in the war zone known as Rochester NY. I think Xerox Tower is now being used to house college kids and homeless people.

I do reference my xerox experience but I’m quick to note it was many years ago… well prior to the monkey sh!t show that’s going on now.

I am not one bit embarrassed to say that I work for Xerox!!

The only embarrassing thing is that you post such a comment. This tells me about your character - you are a disgruntled, self-absorbed and grouchy person.

I hope your next employer sees through your charade and you get what's coming to you.

Don't worry and don't be embarrassed. It's not just Xerox. Every other corporation that has put their C-level execs and shareholders above their customers and the employees that help keep the customers is doing a good job of screwing Americans. The politicians in their pockets are doing an even better job of making us fight among ourselves over completely non-government/social issues so we don't pay attention to them stealing from "we, the people" that fund them. It is a feature, not a bug that they keep us overworked and underpaid so if we do pay attention, we have no time and can't risk losing our jobs or our health insurance that is still too expensive to cover anything should something actually go wrong. It takes 40+ years to build a retirement and one cancer diagnosis to make it cheaper to die in America. The embarrassment belongs to Vistenin and Icahn, and the people that consistently vote against their own financial interest because they falsely believe these people are "job creators." They are asset-takers and pocket-liners - just theirs though.

Actually I am not because most of the time nobody (unless over 50 and even then) has never heard of Xerox anyway.

Nope. But I’d be more embarrassed about weighing 275+ lbs like the fat midwestern tech. Yikes!
