Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

A toxic culture costs the company in many ways

Hiring people and training them costs. So I think hiring new people who leave after a very short time because of the toxic atmosphere, while in the meantime doing nothing to fix that atmosphere is pointless. In my opinion, it's just a waste of money. For how much longer will leadership keep repeating the same mistakes?

They don't care, here in south Florida we are super short staff and closing early because we don't have enough people to work and probably not able to get more high school students to work Saturday and Sundays with customers screaming and making "$20" an hour

I agree with you. The pool for good talent is pretty low especially considering the compensation and requirements these days. I got some co-workers with their only work experience prior being driving uber. So this is a great setup for them. They ain't going anywhere unless the get fired or tired of it.
