When I interview with a new company, I always look around the room, and take a gander at the people who work there. Do they look happy? Do they look stressed?
I can usually get a sense of the workplace by the way I'm treated in the interview, and how the company is presented to me.
I had a pretty good impression of Fiserv when I started there. Things went South on me when I had a manager change.....about the time of the merger. I have always said that it takes just one person to make a job great or sh---y. Especially when it comes to management.
Really, $200 by end of year. Investors are seeing through the shame of letting people to go without greating new growth.
It is struggling to get above $125... Maybe this POS company might make a decent run to $125; however, First Data's stock didn't do much until Fiserv acquired it.
But the other 6% is stock, stock that's currently $96, but will be $200 at the end of the year !!!!
Follow up on the post about bonus for a position, make sure to also ask what percentage of target it paid. Like the 10% manager bonus that only pays out at around 80% and then only half in cash, that means your cash bonus is a massive 4%.
Let me fix this for you.... Before you accept a position with ANY COMPANY... you're welcome. Fiserv is cr-p, but it's not the only cr---y company. Always do research before starting a new job.
@rxa+1gzEDKp9 - OMG remove the year and someone would think I wrote this post.
The Fiserv I joined in 2016 had it's issues, such as substandard pay and management communication issues. My department was fairly on it's own and well managed, and the knowledge was priceless. The general rule was stay at Fiserv, learn something good and move on when ready. First Data has changed that to stay until your health collapses, find a doctor and move on.
And if you are in a leadership position that can get paid a bonus, ask about what the payout was for that position over the past couple of years. If they hem and haw assume zero.
Yes do your homework, voted worst place to work in 2013 Google it you'll see , still the same not much changed
Do your homework. This company is not for employee's but their bottom line.
