Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

50th anniversary

The company’s milestone is a great occasion to celebrate the contributions of past and current employees. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to me that Nike appreciates anyone's contributions. I expected that celebrating the 50th anniversary would remind us a little more of what we love about the company, something that many of us are slowly beginning to forget. Just sayin'.

Get woke, go broke. It’s not going to get better, only worse. Thankful I’ll be gone in July so I won’t have to be around for more bad decisions made in the name of “DEI”.

Yup. This isn’t the same Nike that PHK co-started 50 years ago. That company appreciated and cared about the contributions everyone made. At today’s Nike you are just a number. Easily disposed of and forgotten when convenient. Today’s company is a hollow, soulless, multi-national shell of the original dream.
