Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Dividend guy again

So tomorrow is the big day thanks again Vteamers for your efforts and allowing Verizon shareholders a amazing dividend of.64 a share payable tomorrow !!!!

Sine Hans has done such a great job the stock price is soaring now isn’t it?

Anyway for those keeping score at home it’s not all bad if you owned Verizon on April 6 you get the dividend. the price was 52.56 a share that day so for every 1000 shares you would make $640.

Now why is that a big thing well since Friday’s 04/29/2022 price went to a amazing amount of $46.30 a share ouch !!

What I would say that if the price stayed the same as 04/06/2022 of $52.56 a person reinvesting dividends would get 12.17 shares for every 1000 shares they owned.

With the price going to $46.30 a share a person would get back 13.82 a share for every thousand shares owned almost over 1.5 shares more per 1000 shares.

Now if a large company purchased 147,000,000 shares let’s say sometime last year that would mean a extra 200.500 shares with the price going down like it did on Friday.

Huh? Weird. Anyway food for thought thanks again Vteamers!!!

The end is near. Hans will be gone and your dividend stock is going down down down down.

The share price would have to hit 28.44 in order to match the average return of the S&P 500 (roughly 9%) over the last 40 years. The last time we saw those levels was 2010.

So this post of for us to buy stocks again so the big guys that brought the stock down can make millions, remember they don't buy 20 stocks they are buying thousands of stocks and once the price goes up they sell, the price goes down and you lose again!

Your grammar is horrible, “ The rule is: Use an before a word beginning with a vowel sound (not letter). It doesn't matter how the word is spelled. It just matters how it is pronounced. Use a before a word with a consonant sound as well as y and w sounds.”

“An amazing” not “A amazing” “An extra” not “A extra”

I’m not sure how anyone can take you serious with simple grammar rules we all learned in grade school.

You're welcome. Dividend is an even better value now that the stock price has tanked. You should consider buying more if dividends are part of your investing strategy.
