This usually lasts until Sunday afternoon or even morning. Then the depression sets in. Tell me it's not wrong to feel this way about your work? I know nobody is supposed to love their job but at least not getting depressed when having to go back should be the norm, right?

Absolutely OP, update, plan, leave and then you can kiss that feeling of dread good bye!
Lol…I cant wait to start my week. Working on really cool projects. My employer empowers me to get the job done and the leaders are not paranoid narcissist control freaks.
Leave. The grass is so much greener you will feel foolish that you stayed so long.
I used to enjoy working at fiserv. Then first data took over. Now its a clown show of depression.
Ah, the "Sunday Scarys." Having them non-stop is the Universe telling you what you already know.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I LOVE working for the BEST fintech on the planet. I for one, trust our CEO and I think he's doing a great job. I love my weekends, but I certainly don't dread Mondays. I love my team and I love my job.
Oh, did I mention I don't work for Fiserv anymore?
I love my job at Fiserv…and when you love what you do it really isn’t work. So sad for you!
I start feeling sick to my stomach on Sunday evenings knowing Monday is approaching soon.
I felt like that for years. First it was Sunday evening, then Sunday afternoon, and then morning. When the feeling of impending doom started happening on Saturday I knew it was time to move along. Don't keep putting off the inevitable, you are forfeiting years of happiness.
You can get pills that will make you happier. They are covered by UHC. You can even save money once you hit your $9,000 deductible.
This is exactly how I felt the last 5 months of my Fiserv life. I’m glad I left. I recommend you do the same.
I really like my job. It’s challenging and fun in a good way. Since I’m remote I can duck into my office and try some new approaches when my wife is asleep.
Of course, I left fiserv and work for another employer. I make more, have better benefits and am actually appreciated by my managers.
I used to feel like the OP but since I left fiserv and moved on I feel like I’m in my 20s and work is discovery, challenging and yes, even a bit fun.
Good luck to you.
