Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Best advice for newbies

Yesterday I finally gave notice and I immediately felt a great relief. I have spent the longest six years here and I wish I could give some advice to those who have just come here or to those who intend to come here. I really don’t know what better advice than to run away from this place?

I almost had a nervous breakdown after working at this bank for 6 months. The way employees are treated is beyond inhumane. I understand the customers are mad but a male walked into my office, called me names and told me to shut my mouth. No support from upper management. This has been the worst job of my life. A true kiss of 6 months if my life… I left a REAL bank to come here… so sad.

Advice for a newbie? Hmm. Well, if this is your first job, congratulations - you can rest well knowing you are getting your worst job out of the way early in your career. It is all uphill after Truist!

Great move. Best of luck.
The bank quit on you a long time ago.

Good move and good luck. Rest assured no one in management cares if you left. Bill and Beau and their minions have turned this bank into a place only good for other banks castoffs. Stockholders are just starting to catch on too SunTruist’s ridiculous inability to compete. No more integration to hide behind. It’s real now!
