That is a funny list! The one name that was not on that list of weaklings but who is the only one with serious telecom chops and company wide respect is John Townsend. But that would make too much sense.
Who should succeed Hans is someone who has a general understanding of this business and the US market. That would be a good start. From the beginning of 2.0 is was clear that none of the heads of the LOBs should have ever been there. Just like the H Man they were all way in over their heads.
Andy is the obvious choice. Chowder or Rolls(?) is key to VZ success.
