Yeah, baby! Go get 'em VZ!
So.. does anyone actually know what he was fired for?
None of the articles I've found indicate the actual reason for firing him. Just that when the union or the former employee are asked they say "minor infraction".
"Minor" is opinion, and obviously added to drive the narrative of the articles it appeared in (gotta consider your sources).
"Infraction" could be anything, so I wonder what it was.
It’s very disturbing but true that this guy got fired from Verizon. It was Verizon’s poison pill to counter any more union talk and to evoke fear into all employees. This guy was the example however he will end up very wealthy because of his termination as it was unlawful. I’m surprised someone hasn’t set up a Go fund me account for him as well. That would at least generate thousands to carry him through the lawsuit.
The irony of someone telling a CWA organizer to go back to the basement. CWA has done more in 3 months for verizon workers then your basement dwelling a-s ever will.
‘"They can fire me, but they can’t fire all of us, and we won’t stop fighting until every worker who wants a union has a union," said Mason.’
Why is my first thought of course they can? Cant be a union with no retail stores.
Hello CWA organizer. Go back to your mom's basement.
