The new CIDO thinks everyone is an id--t! Mark and Monish are moving most IT jobs to India as a cost cutting measure. If you are helping to enable this you are effectively enabling your job to be cut. Get out now on your own terms before you don’t have a choice!

Mark is Monish’s b@#ch. Not willing to do the right things for the company or his team. He is the definition of a “yes” man.
I simply cannot figure out what Mark wants done. He says one thing, but his actions don’t follow. It would be nice if he was actually an authentic leader. I have been at 3M a long time, but am now aggressively looking to leave. I miss the days when we had a talented good leader.
It keeps getting worse. The savings from TCOE in India simply aren’t there (Shaun should be held accountable). Hopefully someone in leadership will pay attention and notice what happens when you bring in an under qualified CIO. Everyone is running for the doors. In the modern age …. how IT/tech goes so goes the company.
Mark is an abusive and toxic leader. HR needs to take action.
The new CIDO is bottom of the barrel. Unfortunately was brought in to cut costs and layoff employees. He’s losing the good leaders in IT rapidly and won’t have much left soon. Death spiral!
The reality is that anyone who stays at 3M in a digital role likely has few other options or youd be working at a more attractive tech company to begin with. Think 3M is on the list of tech employees that work at places like salesforce, msft, amazon, google, etc.? No way. Be happy u have a job

The CIDO is the most toxic micromanager I have ever seen. He requires his approval for trivial cost items and has basically slowed everything to a crawl. I don’t see him lasting long. Basically here to do layoffs and massive cost cutting. 3M is going to find out you can’t cut your way to growth.

TCOE = Technical Center of Excellence (in India)
