All of your down votes and stupid comments are just adding fuel to the fire, Apple announced today more stores are looking to go union, it's only a matter of time!! People are sick of the bu-----t....the leaders of this company have brought this on themselves, and the unions are coming!

@1jmx+1gjZI4sj Quit complaining. Why would anyone be in Retail for 10 years? Talk about loyalty? I thinks it is because some have nowhere to go. Retail, Coffee making, fast food is a step in life. No one expects you to be here forever. You want to compare wages? That means your 40k is more money than the newly college graduate engineers that builds rockets in 90s. Ever heard of the saying 100k doesn’t go very far anymore? Arguing for higher wages but be prepared to pay higher prices. Getting ahead at the bottom really doesn’t change your life. It is about getting out of the bottom. How is the VZ job any different than a Best Buy retail? 20.00 per hr, still can get latest iPhone, car lease, and Jordans so you will be fine.

Understand that most stores will be indirect sooner than later. Verizon is leading with a feel good statement with a dealer footprint. Oh well it was fun while it lasted time to use your resumes for the bigger picture.

I love how the tenured people don't get anything. Those of us can't even get more than a 1% raise that doesn't cover the fact that it doesn't even cover inflation. way to take care of those that have been here through thick and thin since day 1 Big Red. Oh yeah I almost forgot.....Putting up with all of those entitled customers that felt we owed them during the pandemic. That 1% raise helps out a lot.

What if you get paid $25/hr ? Like me an og rep. Which sucks because I don’t get raises anymore even if I’m leading

Union clowns say $20 an hour is because of unions. So unions are responsible for poverty wages ROFL...

Don't be fooled by what you are reading or the lies the union tells you. Brooklyn employees got the exact same raises as everyone else, except the union takes their share directly out of employees checks.

Just have to imagine the CEO's cringeface everytime another store unionizes to make me smile and chuckle. This is what happens when you don't value your front line. He deserves what he gets.

Still waiting on the class action for surveys.

Anyone who has been with the company for years is getting screwed over. Imagine working 5 to 10 years, getting to 40k then finding out the new hire who knows nothing is now getting your same pay.

The only reason they're doing this is because our job is extremely stressful and you can go to Subway, KFC, Target, Walmart etc. and make the same wage or slightly lower and do a job with no stress.

This is a slap in the face for anyone who has been with the company. No raise for you. Enjoy knowing that the last 3 to 4 years of your raises was just ate up by inflation and Verizon doesn't care about anything more than their billions in net profits.

That is correct. Let's compare.

ATT $18 an hr + commission

T-mobile $20 an hr + commission

Verizon $20 an hr WHICH EQUALS hourly + commission

Pathetic.....

Because the union employees are getting more than $20 an hour. BTW read the article. Nobody is getting a bump. It's $20 an hour which equals hourly + commission.

Two stores unionize and this happens within a week. Imagine what could happen if they all unionized.

So seasoned reps and managers get 0 bump in pay....Verizon always did have a way with shtting on loyalty. This will be the final straw for a lot of people. Prob their plan all along. You can bet the store is BUZZING with union talk now.

This is a result of all the union talk. Tell me unions don't do anything again. And $20 is still bad when your commission is 20% of what it used to be.
