I’m hearing that business cases are being prepared around an 85% utilization cutoff.
Last Friday my MU GM published everyone’s utilization actual sat the bottom of a very benign email published weekly…”Look hey what’s that sound?… everybody knows what’s going down”… to quote a great American band

If a big recession hits here in the US (it looks like it will) IT budgets will be cut big time - this may lead to layoffs in Q3 or Q4

I am hearing Dec - Feb ‘23. Hyperscalers are easy money now given their growth. Commodity to lift and shift.

Once done very difficult for S/4 case as IT costs have been claimed. Often up to half of hard benefits when moving to S/4.

If you have less than 3 years to go - hang on 🤷‍♂️? Otherwise, look for growth, talent, and products in companies whose products and services were designed for the cloud.
