You can debate who has the best network, but the difference is negligible so who cares. We need new leadership team to install a competitive culture and strategies to win against the likes of T-Mobile, AT&T, Amazon, and Microsoft. Tami's replacement will be critical.

Tami was representing Verizon at the Moffett Nathanson 9th Annual Summit and disparaged both AT&T and T-Mobile. She basically said AT&T was a non entity in the 5G space and that T-Mobile's inferior 5G network was a bunch of tin cans attached by strings while Verizon had the best state of the art end to end network that was unmatched by any competitor. While all that is probably true, AT&T will ramp up 5G before you know it and T-Mobile has been kicking our tails since Lowell's infamous comment.
The "if you build it they will come" smugness continued under Lowell's leadership when 4G drastically narrowed our network advantage. The 5G buildout benefits business customers, not the average consumer and will not restore Verizon's network superiority. Tami's response to the P x Q question posed at the Moffett Nathanson 9th Annul Summit made it clear our current leadership lacks the vision and strategy to compete in today's world against T-Mobile, AT&T, Amazon, and Microsoft.
I hope Tami has no input on her successor.
vz is ahead of the competition in things that actually matter such as social justice causes and equity.
