Layoff Rumors

Have you heard any layoff rumors lately? I see a ton of topics below, but we are not discussing layoffs anywhere. Do you think we'll have layoffs anytime soon?

It was near the end of the PWM All Hands call and was in the context of quarterly results. It could mean turnover-related costs though.

Anytime a big executive retires, it starts a chain of layoffs. The replacement will want their own people in positions that they know and are not threatened by. Truist is in a bad place right now, the stock is sinking and big companies, especially in DC area, are reporting major wire fraud of thousands of dollars, that soon be investigated by the feds. This MOE was a joke but planned out masterly for the ones who lined their pockets with cash, they literally stole from the employees as well as their shareholders. It will catch up to them, I kid you not.

They are ongoing and never stop. The hiring is also ongoing and never stops.

Small scale layoffs are happen now. Huge MoE contras out there. And until Wall Street gets the efficiency ratio they were promised, cuts will continue.

Doubt it, have you not heard of and felt the labor shortage? If there were any I would suspect in a department that is sensitive to rising rates.
