For those who may not have heard yet about the Boulder site being fully taken over by Kyndryl.

Colorado is an overpriced dump of bad smelling homeless hippies.

The typical home in Boulder City is $973,606, up 19.8% over the past year and will continue to rise over the next twelve months.

A band 03 SSR working in a Boulder data center cannot afford that market.
They'd be living on the streets showering at the YMCA.

IBM transferred its remaining lease in Lexington KY last year to Kyndryl. Once home to the famous Selectric Typewriter, IBM sold its small printer and typewriter business to Lexmark in 1991. There was still a significant IBM presence in town for many years both in a data center and in various programming and consulting jobs. That wound down to just a few jobs that were sent home when COVID started with the final remaining data center given over to Kyndryl. IBM no longer has any offices in KY.

Lexington, Boulder and Austin once made up most of what was called 'Office Products'.
