Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Which department is the safest?

I see that many here are wondering which department is safest from cuts. Of course no one should ever think their job is totally safe, but still perhaps jobs in some departments are a little more stable?

Corp Responsibility is the safest and best. DC office, no one comes to work, everyday is a vacation and there is little to no work to be done, esp if you're in Stern or Ellis's org. Best life ever, and top pay.

Just be better than others in your group, most layoffs take out lower performers first, unless its massive layoffs like are coming to Home Lending originations and auto.

There is no safe department. People are let go accordingly the way the firm to see fit so the moment you stepped into this firm, your life is under its control.
