Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Fire/Run people off - then hire 3 people to do the job

This actually happened/happening. 2 people left/laid off, Management hires back 4 to do the job 2 had before. That is bad enough management, but here is the kicker, pays new hires literally twice as much as the departed employees😳. How on earth does a manger justify such a move? Worse yet the four new employees have been given no instructions or leadership to do the job, simply told they want results. Other employees find out about wage disparity (salary posted) and 2 more quit for better paying jobs. Manager now panicking since nothing is being done and can’t blame anyone else for this fiasco.

Literally went from paying 2 people about 180K to paying 4 people 480K and losing all technical expertise due to wage disparity. A Breathtaking level of managerial incompetence.

How this company is still in business is a complete mystery.

Sounds like payments… but hey, they are enabling our future. Never seen a bigger failed scam operation in my life. They are getting rid of real talent and bringing in people who have no clue about literally anything…

You just described the payments business line perfectly, they continue to run off the incredibly talented people that know that business 8nside and out and hire numerous experienced people that don't know any aspect of the business and can't solve the problems that the companies are facing
