is it just stores that can go union or can other departments? like business (bam or r2b) ? i know in the business field they keep upping the quotas and expectations and everyone is hardly keeping up trying to balance it all
Nope I'm a rep in NYC. And yes you probably are big culture problem in your store.For what our job is its decent pay and mystore has been on all cylinders hitting metrics and incentives. I came from at&t the cwa does not help with pay or the commission structure you genius. Ask the stores in Brooklyn. And I stick by my statement you should personally quit since are a simple minded individual. You would complain even if we went back to individual commotion. Have a good weekend 1 bar.

Funny thing is when a coworker and I told one of our managers how we felt about the constant reduction in pay, all we got is " if you want better pay, it's not here, probably time to find new work if you are in it for money". Evidently recognition is key and is supossed to pay the bills...sad part is we still give above and beyond because if not the tiny scraps they call commission will be less. It's really sad to see this company could give a sh-t less about us front line store reps.
Reading these comments are so funny. The last few posts are literally "leadership" telling employees that they're worthless and to quit their job. There are some serious pay issues going on right now and they are telling everyone to shut up. They have no idea they have a workforce that is trying to just make ends meet. Actually what's worse is that they do know they are screwing employees over to keep net revenue up, they just don't care at all.
Why make the company a better place to work for its employees when you can just tell all the complainers they have no skills and should just quit?

My neighbors works for ATT and they don't get abused nearly as much as vz reps do. Theyre shocked everytime i tell them about workng for this joke of a company. Their systems seem to work better, they have comission that pays out a dollar amount directly to the rep (no ridiculous bucket or quota) and they make more than us even with union dues and a lower hourly. Go ahead tell everyone how awful the union would be. No one cares. At this point its just entertainment to watch leadership cry about it and tell more lies

The stores that are voting union are not voting expecting the union to do anything or get them more money or anything. They are voting for it simply out of spite. The same arguments, well you gotta pay dues and they can't get you anything, doesn't matter.
Go ahead and vote union and see what happens. You will STILL have the same quota and compensation that every other store does only you will make less money cause you will pay union dues. No thanks I’ll be my own voice. I don’t need someone else to speak for me

Stop assuming that stores want to go union because they WANT the union. It's all out of spite most likely. Look how they freak out if there is a mention of it.
Please tell me what have the unions done? Fios and Wireline almost all gone with the exception of parts of the east coast. And! They are losing subscribers year after year. All the Union retail stores have the same goals, quotas, and the verge of being converted to an agent as everyone else.

There isn't such thing as low performance anymore. My check is the same as my peer if I work 1000 hours or 1.
