Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Nothing changes, nothing improves

We're so used to getting bad news, but when's the last time we got some good news? We've been conditioned to not expect anything positive and to take anything negative that's thrown our way like it's perfectly normal. I wish many people would realize that this is not supposed to be the norm. Instead of accepting things as they are, if enough of us complained, maybe we could actually achieve something.

I’ve said it before. We are at 37000. The 44000 number is wrong. I found the number in workday.

200 of 44000? There's that 2019 number again. No where near 44000 left here. And you think only 200 out of those left want permanent WFH? Delusional. And I'm always suspicious of dishonest leadership who tell you one thing on the all-hands meeting and do another. The ONLY reason they relaxed this at all of to try to stop the bleeding. People on my team are looking for other jobs. ALL OF THEM. Enjoy the Kool-Aid.

For the 200 of 44000 who push their agenda for permanent work from home, your point is true beyond that the company just introduced flexibility where employees can work from home 1-2 days per week so this is a positive change so give credit where credit is due.

Even if you got 3000 people to complain that's less that 10% of the company. It won't matter. What you really need is the other 11 board members to axe Frank. But that'll never happen so I guess negativity at Fiserv is the norm. Sorry.
