There used to be trust at Fiserv. But now there is no trace of trust here anymore because managerial fear overpowers trust every time. I was working in a constant state of fear because of the manager, anyone who happened to miss a goal, no matter how unrealistic, could lose their job. When did you realize that you work in a fear-based environment?

Salience don’t even work right. If you read something without moving the mouse, it counts you as away time.
They decided to hire a team lead instead of back filling a PM position. I had been on the team for two years and my previous manager was ineffective, but left me alone cause I cranked out the work. Team Lead/New Manager was on my a$$ like a diaper! Maybe I reminded her of her mother? One co-“worker” played around, took 3 hour lunches, worked out on company time. No repercussions. I liked my job (minus manager) and continued to work hard. It was never enough and she ruled by intimidation. When she left our department for another opportunity, I was glad to see her go. But by then, I was so checked out and worn down from always on the defensive that I knew it was too late for me. Heading for greener pastures.
I ain’t scared
When they installed that computer monitoring and tracking software on everyone's laptops.
