Take a look at any of the links in the "Related Companies" section. The intensity and frequency of loathing towards Oracle blows every other company out of the water. We all hate this place, but the contrast with how much less all the other Companies are hated is pretty surprising. What a bizzaro world thing are at Oracle. At least it's almost Thursday!

IDK WTF is going on in Atlanta, but it seems like more of the same. Person from ATL should read the thread about training up and job hunting on company time, then gtfo.

I left Oracle two months ago and began a new job at SF right after. As many have said before my life immediately. Little things like not being shamed for going to a drs appt and getting a simple thank you for doing good work go a long way

You are right about people stealing other people's work.
The lying and the cheating at Orahole is endless. Looking at the patents of my previous sc-m-bag manager, a couple stand out. One he is the primary inventor on, is one that I filed a description of, and it was immediately turned down. I don't think that legal could have even had time to even read it. Was he telling legal that it was HIS idea and that I was stealing it? Then there's another patent where another previous manager of mine is primary inventor on, and I suspect that was done by another guy I know.
Such sc-m-bags. Such liars. That first manager has a ton of patents. Wonder how many people he has stolen them from.
Then, there was another situation with the first manager and a third manager who had a girlfriend he needed to get a patent for, so they stole my idea. I believe they lied to management above and told them it was ME stealing the idea. You may think that if you are accused of stealing someone's work, you will be informed that you are being accused of something. But, it doesn't work that way at Orahole! They steal and lie BEHIND YOUR BACK and you never get any notice of what they are saying. Even legal didn't bother to check for my side of anything. What a sick, disgusting place Orahole is.
The corruption is endless, the lies, cheating, deceit is disgusting.

New York Times will doing an article re: employee bullying. IBM & Oracle could be mentioned. Atlanta VP needs to be sued & fired for the way he treats those below him and how he bends over (literally) for those above him. How he was hired is a mystery.

Can you link to any IBM lawsuits for age discrimination? Certainly in layers of consulting, training, and support the same age discrimination going on at Oracle. Seems a lawsuit or two (Oracle seems to love lawsuits) is in order. Oracle only seems to want to compensate their lawyers.
For comparable employee hatred, maybe look at IBM.
That's really sad. When I was a bright eyed young buck, IBM was the gold standard for a place to work.
Yes, IBM is right up there. Another company getting sued for age discrimination and other skeevy practices first documented by the affected on social media, Reddit and even ProPublica.
Now we know. If these high stakes well publicized orgs are doing this, can bet it’s pretty wide spread.
Oracle is by far the worst company I have ever worked at. While a lot of oracle employees have been employed only at Oracle and can't compare, I can. I worked in a dozen or so companies in silicon valley before Oracle. None of them are even close to Oracle.
For comparable employee hatred, maybe look at IBM.
