Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Attrition

Seems like Oracle Management has decided to let the attrition's unnoticed and replace experienced employees with cheap labor as new college students or below 3-5 years of experience. They don't care as long as the work is done.
The pressure is mounting on surviving candidates and they might leave too.

it's all good. tech workers are like lightbulbs, nothing more. you burn them up, head over to wallmart and buy the cheapest replacements you can find on the shelves.

The writing has been on the wall for so long, and yet some folks are too cowardly to try to leave. Tough to feel empathy for bottom-of-the-tech-barrel employees like them.

Who is going to turn off the lights?

The rats of course. They are the survivors. They will hang on to the ship to the very end.

Oracle….the biggest mistake I ever made in my life and I’ve made some big ones. Worst company I’ve ever worked for. Most mgmt remind me of Branch Dividians. Most incompetence is in GBU slop. My God. Where your dreams die.
