So main reason the global response to Putin being shy of some children games is gas. Russia is the 2nd global gas provider. So the genius folks out here, in the middle of the inflation, skyrocketed gas prices, make a wide ego filled decision, to bring everyone back to the offices so the demand on gas increases even more, demand on energy increases massively to operate those skyscrapers offices, prices go up more, may reach $10 in places like CA. How is this helping the economy and the current global political situation? How is this making USA stronger? This helps no one but dictators in the Middle East and Russia to bite our thumbs forever. We always need their gas and now we will need it even more!

It is not possible to name a more thoroughly disproven theory than man made Climate Change. There literally is zero science behind it and numerous proof against it.
The Vostok ice core samples alone proved that high levels of carbon dioxide (which is plant food) always follow, not precede, a warming period.
I could easily cite 20 - 30 more studies but one cannot argue with religion, which is exactly what man called climate change is.

Put the blame where it belongs. Big oil, which has the best lobbyists money can by to keep it unregulated, and OPEC. Both will use any excuse to raise prices and do just that.

Any “green” solution that doesn’t include nuclear is fraudulent. Solar, wind and electric are nowhere near sufficient to meet the world’s energy needs. And, as an example, lithium have a significant environmental impact. Go live in the woods off the grid if it bothers you so much.

We should be focusing on green solutions vs fossil fuels. We do not need fracking in the US. We should be putting that oil money into wind power, solar power, or other cleaner technologies instead. Another thing we need to focus on is better battery technology and some sort of recycling for batteries used in green tech.
Gas prices increased appx 40% in the first year of the Brandon administration due largely to America last energy policies, reckless spending and loose monetary policy. All of that was before the Ukrainian conflict. Who exactly is the traitor again?
Another consideration that's impacted is the price of ferterlizer - Russia will stop all exports soon (today?) - expect the price of food to drastically increase due to this - ferterlizer related stocks in the US have had big run ups the last couple of weeks - you can hide out from high gas prices - but you gotta eat!

Forget those businesses. Many of us won't be using them even after RTO, so they will end up closing anyway. If they were smart they would have left these hubs during COVID and never looked back.

Do your part! Do not buy items near where you work. Do not go to restaurants near where you work. Do not pay for travel or parking where you work - ride share, get a ride, etc. Encourage businesses to open in your area "I really like your food, you should put a shop in [neighborhood/suburb]!" Encourage others to buy or rent living spaces out of the city. So on...

I was the one who posted this and was downvoted. I am not advocating for RTO. My point is that everyone going into the offices keeps downtown businesses afloat and commercial office spaces occupied. IMO that economic model is outdated, and instead people should be spending that money on other things, especially in their local economies.
Yes, it would involve a change in how money flows. It would be disruptive. Is those in themselves good reasons to keep things how they are?
Soon enough commercial real estate will become obsolete and no one should invest in it. Stop burring your heads in sand. It will be very costly and inefficient. They just need to have some vision to run faster so they don’t lose. Smart leadership is a rare gem, they are mostly id--ts with big paychecks and classic ties chocking up their necks.

Yeah, it’s not that people are resisting RTO. It’s the managers and business men refusing to acknowledge that the world has changed forever, and it doesn’t seem to be going back to where they want it. Too lazy to adjust to changes and turn challenges to opportunities. They aren’t leaders, just fat bellies with tons of money.

We do not need any more fracking or drilling done here.
