Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

It'll be five years since I joined Fiserv next week

Not once did this place change for the better. It didn't even stay the same, it just keeps getting worse and worse. Those of you who are hoping to see things improve will be waiting for a long time. I've accepted that for now, the pay I receive is good enough for me to be willing to take all the other cr-p. As soon as that changes, I'll be gone.

I've done more than 15 and it's been downhill the whole time - though since Frank appeared, it's gone from a gradual slide to a vertical drop. Thanks for the payout, glad I get to walk away.

What once was a career with Fiserv has turned into just a job. If/when something else better comes along I'm out!

Agreed, I have never once seen a change for the better at this company (came from OFD, for context). The only "good" change recently was just the reversal of a bad prior change, which was reinstating the full original 401(k) match this year. Although it's still paltry compared to other companies.

I think that this company can be good for someone who feels like they're being paid enough to just ignore the BS and negative aspects of the job. If you're OK with that, then it's probably fine to coast here and collect a paycheck. I certainly wouldn't judge anyone for taking that approach.
