It’s obvious that VZ IT has figured out how to falsify voting on TheLayoff site, no surprise there as VZ does the same thing on pulse surveys, customer satisfaction scores and other surveys. When a company sucks so badly that it has to resort to deception and fraud it’s kind of scary.

yeah you could make a script to down vote in 10 minutes if you were apt to. It's not even hard to do manually. Downvotes here just have a different meaning. One as you struck a nerve.
it doesnt take an IT person to vote up or down. IT people have real work to do. it's corporate people concerned with optics doing down voting. the down votes only happens during business hours in between super duper important blue jeans meetings.
Could be anyone really. Disgruntled former employee. Union workers on breaks. HR. The thing is voting is absolutely pointless on this site so let them have at it and feel better about themselves.
Now pulse surveys that is a whole different topic. Mostly they have shifted to participation metrics, pointless questions, and people worried about reprecussions to get good answers so not sure how much they need to fudge those pointless numbers. Whatever happened to my best friend at work and improving that score?
