My last manager was AMAZING. Concerned about ME and worked with me to make me my very best. The present manager is okay, but only okay. I miss my old manager. :(

Below poster you are right… The only way Humana can sustain itself at this point is to merge with a profitable company… If I had to guess I would say it won’t be Humana making the “purchase” but the other way around.

@4pux+1fqlJr1I BB is very wise, He is looking for the next merger. All of the signs indicate that. Remember, he works for the stockholders, not you or the members.

Wiser CEO and leadership to avoid so many lay-offs.

Closing the shop at right time can makes Humana look better.😉

That’s a rather unrealistic expectation, considering this is a site where employees share concerns about their employers. We also get enough happy talk from management. I’d rather know what others experience that doesn’t fit that happy talk narrative. Then I can be on the lookout for signs in my own work environment.

While I was RIF, and was surprised that my PTO was taxed at the bonus amount rate, and always thought the timing of the announcement of the AIP really limited your ability to divert it to your 401k, where Humana would have to do the match….which would be at a higher rate than if it wasn’t diverted there, I have always thought that in this economy, that Humana was generous with salaries and bonuses. I am not a nurse, and that may be the big difference in these postings…for someone who is in a support person role, the salary and bonuses, the awards you could win, were great. My boss was great, they were flexible with my time needs with my kids. We got paid time off related to COVID needs, even if it wasn’t us. Our friends and family can get free counseling through the EAP. I have lots of positive things to say about Humana.
