Mine was less, but thats because the company multiplier was 100% whereas last year it was something like 125%. My AIP target is 15% so I get$20k+ each year

How do some people receive thousands? It depends on several factors. First, what’s your role? Different roles have different “baselines” set for AIP. You can’t see them, but your manager can. That baseline then gets multiplied with whatever the board set for the prior year as the multiplier for the company, plus whatever your manager set as the multiplier for your performance. Example: You work as a customer service rep. Odds are, the baseline AIP for your role is automatically set at 4%. That 4% can end up being more—or less—depending on the board and manager multipliers. So if you’re in a role where your salary is 80k, the role baseline for AIP is 25%, the board multiplier is 100% and the individual multiplier is 125%…that can add up to thousands in AIP. The ASC has some good articles explaining how AIP works. You might want to there for a more detailed explanation.

AIP is based on salary and your evaluation for this year.

Is everyone who mentioned receiving thousands in a clinical role? I'm non-clinical, have maintained exceptional rating, yet my AIP has decreased every year. I went from about 4k the first year down to 1800 this year. How are some able to receive $8k?

Mine was less. I got an exceptional rating last year and this year, but the company and leader-based ones this year were lower. That took me from 13k last year to almost 8k this year. Huge difference with the same rating.

I still haven’t gotten my award statement. But my guess is mine will be about $2500 less than last year. My raise can’t get much lower than last year unless I just don’t get one at all so we’ll see on that one.

My AIP was 4k less than last year with a personal multiplier of 100% this year. Humana didn’t do nearly as well as they had in year’s past so I’m surprised I got what I got!! Raise was not great but at least I’m getting one.

Below poster, it’s not strange. It’s happened before and is indicative of a large RIF in the near future.

So strange they can pay out the AIP now but the raises don’t go into effect until July 1. I have never heard of that. I have worked at other large companies in the past.

Mine will be about $1000 less than last year but I'm also getting a significant raise. I am not a manager.
