Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I hope to get a better answer here than on Facebook

My neighbors across the hall just got a dog. Both of them work and the dog is alone at home for most of the day. The poor dog scratches at the door all the time. Barking never stops.

I am working from home and this is really interfering with my sanity.

Is it within my rights to leave a note to the owners and request that they do something about it?

Move... Or get a grip... This is a layoff site not to be confused with an advice line on the local radio. Here is a suggestion. Call EAP and ask if you can get legal advice.... But moving is your only real hope. Out in the woods someplace where you won't have neighbors.

And to answer you question, Yes, you have the right to enjoy peace and quiet in your dwelling. Hopefully making them aware will be all you need to do.

I agree with @1ili - they probably do not even know it's a problem. Talk to them and thell them that the pooch is suffering.

They may not even realize it's an issue. Try having a light hearted conversation with the owners and mention that you are working from home and you hear him all day. Honestly sounds like it could be a puppy that will eventually grow out of it.
