Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Nike Employee Vs Nike Employee

I love The debate over what OTHER people want to do when it comes to this back to WHQ drama. It is easily the most divisive topic I have seen during my 20+ years at Nike.

We should all just focus on what YOU want to do. We should not let Nike pit it’s employees against each other… I cant help but think this is what JD wants…

The only question I have for others is… Unfortunately Nike is about Wall Street and not about us. So, if Nike is about itself than why would you be for anyone but yourself?

Nah. If you’re one of these phonies pretending that you love sitting at a sh---y shared workspace for 8-9 hours per day, you’re my enemy.

@Hme calls it right, it's you vs you. Do want remote work? Yes? Probably need to find a job elsewhere unless you throw a hail mary pass for the remote work pilot and get in. If you're fine with it, try it out. If you hate it, find a new job.

The theme here is if you're not happy, you probably need to leave for your own good.

OP, I will always be about myself be it at Nike or other company when it comes to what I want or do not want. It is not about one Nike employee vs. another. Nike made a decision, sure. The only question that remains for any of us as individual employees is this: will you conform and go back to the office or will you not so you can change your situation. Full stop. No employee vs. employee and no employees vs. the company. It is just you vs. you. If you want to know, personally I already decided that I am not going back to the office and I am in the middle of lining up a new fully remote job. I have until End of April or beginning of May to do accomplish my goal.
