If their plan is to keep employees here a little longer this way, then I have to say that their plan is pretty bad. Not only will it not keep me here that way, but I will try to leave even before I intended. I hate that kind of manipulation. In addition, of course, there is almost no transparency. I have to come looking for information about raises here, instead of that information being already known to everyone. Do they really think this is the way to slow down the attrition?

Your AIP is based on your previous years earnings. Delaying raises by 6 months effectively cuts your 2023 AIP to 2022 AIP levels.
Wow below poster. You must have had it really bad at your previous place of employment. While Humana may do well in comparison to traditional on-site employers, they fall far behind their corporate competitors. Perhaps when making comparisons they should be apples to apples.
How about being grateful that you are getting a raise?! I worked for years at a hospital that had a wage freeze in effect. How about the fact that Humana even offers a yearly bonus?! I for one think Humana has some amazing benefits and one of the best companies I have ever worked for. No I do not work in management. I just believe in looking at the good instead of focusing on the bad. So many posting on here forget about the great pay, great PTO, amazing 401K match, ability to work from home, etc. If you can find it so much better elsewhere , then GO! Leave the company! What are you waiting for?! Oh that’s right...your severance. Smh. Medicare managed care is unpredictable. You are choosing to work in this environment so quit complaining!
I agree. Don’t leave. Make them pay you severance and then unemployment. Let’s all stay and make them pay. We have worked hard for this company. They are insulting our intelligence. Who has ever heard of a company announcing a raise and not giving it until months later. No wonder this company is tanking.
They have to find 1 billion dollars to cut. They delayed raises to avoid having to pay those increases from March-June, when there will be another big layoff, and then to avoid paying the increase in raises for those that are laid off (sounds like in June) with severance pay. It has nothing to do with keeping people longer. If you go now you’re doing them an even bigger favor because then they won’t have to pay you a severance which is 2 weeks of pay for every full year employment you’ve been with them.
