I have been at SF for over 20 years in IT. Always given an average rating - never below average. My salary us under the 35th percentile. Moral of the story - take your experience and go to a higher paying job. SF has increased the salary ceilings, but long term employees should not expect to achieve anything beyond 2.5% for their entire career.

So many fleeing. Never in history have even the pensioned leadership fled certain leaders. Exodus.
Meanwhile manager level folks are given the keys and achieve 7 figures and buy fancy. Won the podunk lottery because nobody wants to live in middle of nowhere
7 years in. started RA1 as BA-T. Multiple promotions brought me to RA4. Transitioned to developer 2 years ago and moved into RE4. I’m around 42% of cap. I have had numerous years of 3/3 and/or 4 and 5 reviews though. This year however I only got a 3 rating and < 3% merit. I know several others that have also been 4+ rating employees in prior years that only got 3 ratings this year and < 3% merit. It definitely feels like they’re holding back this year and last.
25 years - at 98% RE3. Back in the day, they use to give 12-15% raises.
OP, are you RE3 or 4? I'm coming up on 25 years as a 4 and at about 35% as well.
Please hang on, everywhere is overran by H1 workers.
