After three years the company finally figured out that the gap between the AM shift and PM shift from 12:30-3:00 doesn’t work. Imagine that.

It's not just receiving. When have they done anything that they tell you to do?
It doesn’t work after opening for clubs with small docks. We have to load paper and water into a dc truck if we get more then one. That usually leaves us with just one empty door.
The receiving schedule is a mess. Getting hammered with trucks from 4am-11am, no time slots blocked for fresh or dry dc trucks. We have no pm receiving associate so dock doesn’t get cleared. No time slot blocked for vendors. Dc’s are going to get backed up quickly. I just don’t get it. Home office is friggin clueless. They’ve obviously never stepped foot on a receiving dock.
