Every quarter we have these mandatory "all hands meetings" where instead of something useful happening, those of us below director level have to sit on our hands for an hour and watch those above the director level use their hands to circle jurk each other for an hour. The whole thing is always pointless, where these clowns blab about the stupidest shiz that nobody cares about. There's always a Q&A session where you can chat in (supposedly) anonymous questions for the VP of whatever useless function to provide a non answer to. On this occasion I asked a direct question about recent attrition trends and the impact of them to the future viability of the department. Didn't get an answer, shocking I know. The call wrapped up with VP of clown operations saying farewell, and then nothing happened for a minute. Then, those VPs/directors/clown started talking again, but clearly they thought someone had switched the zoom to an internal only format, because they started congratulating each other, saying good job etc. You know, the kind of stuff people on the presenter side of things normally do after a presentation is over and shut down. Then it got juicy though. The most obtuse VP in the group then started bashing my people for asking d-mb questions about attrition, calling them id--ts, etc. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and apparently even the other VP inbreeds still in the pow wow couldn't either because one of them pointed out that the zoom was still visible external, then they all freaked out. They went into damage control mode and then quickly shut down the zoom like they should have a long time ago. I don't know how many people saw this buffoonery play out - any normal person ignores these stupid calls on principle, and others I'm sure closed things down during official farewell. So I may have been the only non mgmt Fugger who witnessed it. Funny thing is though, I recorded the whole thing as a video on my phone, but now I'm not sure what to do with this priceless gem of a file. Any thoughts?

Maybe there is a way to leverage a mini golden parachute to get out of that sh--e show?
Our management spent the time telling us how others (Sales) could make more moolah!
LOL!! Talk about clueless management!!
Thanks…getting out is good advice
It’s a slippery slope.
To the person who says middle management will get cut, I do not believe this will happen. All management is royalty to LE. They will cut the lower level workers to the bone. Do not be one of them. Get out of Oracle now.
LE owns 40% of the company and is the sole captain of this sinking ship; at the end of the day, you can complain as much as you can, he doesn't care if employees are mistreated, stressed out or underpaid since they are all expendables like lightbulbs. He only cares about staying relevant in the market place and returning values to investors; unlike any other CEOs, he cannot get fired and he will die on the job one day...
“ All in all what worker bees want to hear is when are they geting more moolah(period).”

It is the job of execs to do these show and tell stuff. Waste of time for worker bees though. OP, what answer were you seeking and how would it have helped you? Yes it was an id--t question. All in all what worker bees want to hear is when are they geting more moolah(period).
Since worker bees are essential but only as good as their managers (middle management) this explains the current downward spiral of the company, failing products, negative net income (operating in the red) increase debt (74 billion) long losing underperforming stock prices. With increased inflation, the first to go this time will be middle management. The survival of a failing company because In the end, Upper management has to rely on the worker bees after the mid Mgmt idi-ts are cut and , the workers bees thrive. The backbone, knowledge/know-how remains with the worker bees. The overpaid useless uninformed out of touch narcissistic VP’s, execs are the real id-ots. When expenses need to be cut & shareholders need reassurance, the job of the mid level execs change to unemployed.

Unless you are close to retirement and riding beautiful wave, Orahole is a complete waste of your time/career; and are only benefiting LE to buy his next yacht, island, ho_oker...
Great advice. I suggest everyone still there follow it. IT WILL NOT GET BETTER. Not now not ever.
Post it on Otube
Remember the culture and the way VPs treat their employees is set by the CEO and LE
True. However, VP’s are responsible for their own unacceptable HR and employment law violations and should be held accountable by a court of law which would in turn expose the truth about the behaviors of upper management, besides milking the company of billions. The VP ( possibly RB of Atlanta) that made comments about the person that questioned the concerning attrition, should no longer be allowed to supervise employees. In fact, all VP.s that participated on what was thought to be an internal call should be fired, immediately.

The only way to stop hostile work environments, unacceptable VP behavior that take credit for the work of those that they step on & keep from advancing (for fear they will be found out) is to contact an employment law firm. Sounds like an Atlanta VP that is malicious, has done everything wrong to get where he is, hurt many people & families so that he can afford his travel & immoral addictions. If so, there are several good firms that will protect employee rights - if not familiar with Atlanta - good firm on Peachtree St or road @ colony square - free consultation. Give them video advice to make sure your bases are covered.
The only way to stop mistreatment & to help others including the company is to ask for a class action suit and let the lawyers contact former and possibly current employees & no costs to you.
These VPs need to be stopped.

You need to get out of there. Oracle is a waste of your time. Don’t prop up LE.
After our management call I was trying to figure out what was the most appropriate nursery rhyme. Was it Chicken Little, where the shy is falling? They were addressing engineers and telling us how sales reps are compensated? No, it is more like the emperor has no clothes?
Bunch of as----e clowns! Orahole is such a joke!
Yeah, YouTube!
YouTube.
Might be a nice attachment for an email to that obtuse VPs distro?
