So I am doing pro-Bono work outside my business hours to get experience in my new career path. Even though being pro-bono and outside my working hours do I need to inform the firm I am doing that?

JPMorgan Chase is conflicting with my interests.
Do you any investments you would need to disclose? Then, yes. If not, then no.
It's none of their business what you do outside of work.
Perhaps more importantly do you have a conflict of interest in any of your dealings?
