Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Feels like the crunch is on!

Huge step up in monitoring productivity this week. Gotta use all we got to help pay the bills I guess.

I have noticed they censor vulgarities, insults and racist comments and such censorship is totally fine to me personally.

What do you mean “censored”?

These comments are censored by The Layoff. Another Sk--k claiming to support workers.

Actually it’s once every 3 minutes you have to either click or scroll not to be considered idle. Also if your area tracks downtime then you can account for meetings etc that way so they know why you weren’t clicking or scrolling for a long period of time. I’ve worked at Humana 13 years in production roles, this is nothing new. I do t particularly love it but I can live with it.

This is always the case right before a highly-off. Have to use productivity to justify the point in time assessment that is used to determine who stays and who goes.

Productivity is monitored very closely. In fact it’s down to the click. If you’re not clicking your mouse or typing at least once a minute, every minute you don’t is considered idle time. If you’re not constantly typing or clicking, the workforce people consider you non productive. Just listening is non productive.

I am confused, I thought productivity was always monitored?

It’s ridiculous, micromanagement at its finest but not happening across the board
