There may be no point in a branch to most of us, most of the time but we still need branches to all you dolts that keep regurgitating they will be gone. Wire fraud is up a zillion and smart ppl want to go get cashier’s checks when buying a home. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Ask someone in home lending/capital markets about title companies wiring funds and it not paying off the proper lien while seller and fraudster walk away happy and the buyer is screwed. Also, due to significant increases to bank scams, spoofing, fraudulent online wire setups, some solutions are for us to direct customers to the branch. Let’s not forget during major hurricanes/floods where power goes out and MPS crashes, cards cant be used. ATMs don’t function. Guess what the only option is?? A teller. Do we need one on every corner? No but they are necessary.
