I'm getting tired of blatant favoritism and having to do twice as much as some people to get half the recognition. It looks like hard work doesn't matter anymore. If you don't know the right people or if you didn't kiss the right butts, you can work harder than anybody and still be stuck where you are for good. How is that okay?

This platform is also a way for employees to discuss what’s going on across the company so people are in-the-know since the company lacks all transparency and is constantly laying people off. Not to mention the information on this site has been very accurate for years.
It is a platform for people to express opinions and how they feel and hopefully receive thoughtful, respectful feedback
Is this a platform for layoffs or just to complain about your company?
I worked for humana for 10 years I went through a huge lay off awhile back . How Kia the company now a days are layoff still going on ?
Absolutely agree. It’s all about saying the right things, knowing the right people, st-----g egos and being young, cute and likable. It has nothing to do with how smart you are, how much you know or how hard you work. Most of those in leadership roles are so poorly equipped and rely on others to do and keep their jobs.
Welcome to Humana. This is how it’s been for years. I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Lateral and upward movement has little to do with “meeting metrics”, how many “special projects” you take on or your annual performance. It is about who you know, how well they like you and their willingness to either support or dismiss you in a move.
This has been the Humana way for many years.
